Ever heard someone with a double-stack pistol say: “It sure doesn’t shoot like a 1911”? Baer Custom’s HiCap does. Because it IS a 1911! The whole top end including slide and barrel plus all internal parts are the same that Les Baer uses to build his other world class 1911 pistols, and everything is assembled by Les Baer’s team of 1911 gunsmiths.

The double-stack frame, made from a special composite material, is definitely a custom job…wide enough to hold up to 19 rounds of 9mm in the special mag or 14 rounds of 10mm. But, it’s comfortable enough for almost any hand, particularly with the special grips that guarantee a firm, controlled hold. The frame is also full length and flat on the bottom, similar to Baer Custom’s Monolith frame.
